How Are Points Calculated for PR Eligibility?

5. Partner Skills (Maximum 10 Points)

  • Partner has a skilled occupation + Competent English: 10 points

  • Partner has Competent English only: 5 points

  • Single or PR/Citizen partner: 10 points

6. Additional Points (Maximum 15 Points)

  • Credentialed Community Language: 5 points

  • Professional Year in Australia: 5 points

  • Study in Regional Australia: 5 points

  • State Nomination (Subclass 190): 5 points

  • Regional Sponsorship (Subclass 491): 15 points
